Aim: This is an opportunity for early year’s practitioners to update their knowledge and understanding to create environments for children and their families can feel valued, respected and welcome regardless of their heritage.

- Eradicate myths and stereotypical assumptions embedded in society
- Positive Parent partnerships
- Implementing curriculum framework strategies
Summary:
Individuals will be able to improve their knowledge and understanding in promoting positive practices working in all early years’ settings. This will create opportunities to explore and celebrate cultural diversity without discrimination by combining practical and theoretical approaches to meeting baseline curriculum guidelines and planning. Individuals will take away with them strategies to implement into their own early years environments.
This is a core subject of the current NVQ / QCF, this workshop can be used as evidence in gaining your qualification.
